CRIMEA: TWO YEARS OF NON-VIOLENT RESISTANCE

February 26 in Ukraine officially recognized as the day of opposition to Russian occupation of Crimea. Two years ago on this day, thousands of Crimean Tatars and people of other nationalities held a rally in Simferopol and actually disrupted parliamentary session which could consider the question of joining Russia. According to Ukrainian politicians and experts, the resistance of the peninsula has not stopped, but protest movement slowed down because of repressions which did not stop.
